Warranty

Five years. Because that's how we built it.

Every Swiss Military by Chrono watch comes with a five-year international warranty. It's not fine print, it's our promise that what we built in Solothurn is built to last. Here's what the warranty covers and how to use it if you ever need to.

WARRANTY SCOPE

What the warranty guarantees and covers

The warranty covers manufacturing defects, such as issues with the movement, hands, or dial. If a defect occurs within the warranty period, we'll repair your watch.

Detailed Warranty Terms:

  1. Swiss Military by Chrono watches are manufactured in Switzerland (Solothurn) and carry the SWISS MADE quality seal.
  2. The SWISS MILITARY by Chrono warranty policy is automatically in effect upon purchase of any SWISS MILITARY by Chrono product.
  3. SWISS MILITARY by Chrono grants a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects starting from the date of purchase on all watches. This warranty guarantees the buyer that our products meet the standards of usability, reliability and durability.
  4. The warranty guarantees for the conformity of all SWISS MILITARY by Chrono watches with EC directive 89/336 & standards EN 50081-1 and EN 50082-1 (Jan 1992) regarding electromagnetic compatibility.
  5. Our watches contain battery-powered quartz movements and therefore fall under the category of electrical and electronic equipment. SWISS MILITARY by CHRONO products are in accordance with the provisions of directive 2011/65 EU on restrictions of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic devices. They are also subject to the WEEE directive 2012/19/EU.
SWISS MILITARY by Chrono is registered accordingly. Information on the proper disposal of old devices and batteries can be found on the packaging as well as in our privacy and disposal information.
  6. The warranty only applies to products that are bought on our website swissmilitarywatches.ch or through one of our official retail channels.
  7. To make a warranty claim, the buyer must present the original purchase documentation received from our website or an official retailer.
  8. The warranty ensures the restoration of the watch's functionality in the event of a valid warranty claim. Claims for damages or exchange are excluded, unless the mandatory liability exceptions regulated in our General Terms and Conditions (intent, gross negligence, damage to life, body and health, Product Liability Act) apply.
  9. Repairs must be executed by one of our certified repair centres.

This warranty exists independently of and without prejudice to your statutory warranty rights vis-à-vis the seller. The above warranty terms and exclusions concern exclusively the voluntary manufacturer's warranty and do not limit your statutory rights.
