Once you know where you'll wear your watch, you can narrow down your choices by purpose:
Models with different water resistance ratings, including 200, 500 and 1,000 meters. The depth rating is a test value, not a guaranteed diving depth.
Analog watches for active leisure. Chronograph models add a stopwatch function to the time display. They don't record GPS routes or training data.
Models for hiking, travel, everyday wear and time on the water. Depending on the model, you'll find solar or automatic movements, a range of materials and different water resistance ratings.
Classic models for the office, everyday wear and travel.
Field watches with military-inspired designs. Legibility, luminous hands, crystal and water resistance vary by model.
